Working With Us

First and foremost, we are your partner in your financial journey.  We love being a part of the professional team that safeguards your business, so that it can be everything that you imagined when you started it. 


To accomplish this, we do not bill by the hour.  We assemble a package based on your needs, and bill you a flat rate every month.  This allows you to cash flow and budget better (dang, we sure do sound like accountants, don't we?!).  Plus, this means you don’t have to worry about being charged if you have a question and give us a call!  In fact, we want you to email or call with questions!  This is a collaborative relationship and we always want our clients to know what is going on in their books!  Our minimum monthly rate for bookkeeping services is $495 per month, and average is $975.


We work remotely via several tools including: email, google meeting, telephone, and text messages.  We believe each client is different and are happy to use the form of communication that works best for you.  We utilize several types of software to produce accurate books for your business, depending on what you need.

QuickBooks ONline

We work almost exclusively in QuickBooks Online.  You invite us to have Accountant’s Access.  This means that you have full control over your books at all times, after all, that’s how it should be right?  We have our own unique name stamp so you can see what we have worked on and accomplished via the audit log.  You are never left wondering what we are doing in your books.  


We offer a QuickBooks Online subscription as a part of signing on with us if you don't have one already.  We can take care of the full set up if you aren’t currently using QuickBooks Online.  


We never use your account login information, nor should we have it.

gusto

If you require payroll processing for your company we process through Gusto.  They are a full service payroll and HR provider.  


We work in Gusto due to their compliance modules and the full service package they offer.  So if you need to provide things like benefits or 401(k) administration it is all housed in one place.  


Additionally, there is dashboard that your employees can use to update important information such as their name, address or W-4 form.


The cost of the Gusto subscription is not included in your monthly services, it is automatically withdrawn from your bank account that is tied to payroll.  If you need payroll services, we can give you the current Gusto rates based on your compnay size.

bill pay

If you are itching to rid yourself of writing and signing checks each week, we can add bill pay to your package.  We never write checks for our clients as it is a critcal control measure that protects both you and your business, as well as us.  That being said, many of our clients do not want to print or hand write checks anymore.


We can assist with bill pay through a third party platform.  We have historically used bill.com, however, their monthly rates have steadily increased so we are exploring other options, such as Melio.  Should you be interested in this type of outsourced bill payment we will look at which platform works best for your situation.  Recent updates have changed how QuickBooks interfaces with 3rd party bill pay apps, for that reason we are exploring other options such as QuickBooks' newer offering of bill pay as an add-on subscription.


The most cost effective option is, of course, for our clients to print and write their own checks.  We can always prepare the check batch for you, so all you have to do is sign in to QuickBooks, review and print your checks.  This solution keeps the control in our client's hands while cutting down on their time investment.

There might be other software or add-ons that we can utilize for to your business’ specific situation.  We don’t list package levels on our website because we believe that our clients are best served by personalized bookkeeping packages.  This allows us to tailor the cost to exactly what you need, when you need it.  We can always add or modify services should your circumstances change.
